If you are trying to stack cash and RP without wasting an evening, the Community Mission Series can be a nice change of pace, and that is where GTA 5 Accounts gets mentioned a lot by players who want a fast start. Detective Story is one of those jobs people keep circling back to because it is short, solo-friendly, and does not force you into a messy setup. When the bonus rate is live, the payout feels strong for the time you put in, especially if you already know the route and are not messing around inside the mission.
Getting in and moving fast
Before you launch it, have your Oppressor Mk II ready on the map. That part matters more than people think. You can start the job from the pause menu by going Online, then Play Job, then Community Jobs, and finally Mission Creator Content. Pick Detective Story and run it alone. The opening scene drops you in an office with a gangster, and you can skip the cutscene if you want. Take him out right away, then leave the building and go straight to your bike. You do not need to linger for anything inside the office, and that saves a decent chunk of time.
Phase
What to do
Why it helps
Start
Spawn the Oppressor Mk II before entering the job
Lets you move instantly once the mission begins
Midpoint
Fly straight to the motel pool area
Skips the marker and keeps the run tight
Finish
Collect the hidden items as soon as they appear
Ends the mission without extra waiting
Clear the motel, then watch the map
The next stop is the motel pool area, and this is where a lot of players make the run slower than it needs to be. Ignore the blue circle on the minimap and head straight for the pool. A few suited enemies will be waiting there, and the Oppressor missiles make short work of them. After that, stay near the stairs by the pool and wait for the main target to show up. Once he appears, drop him fast. That triggers the final part of the mission and puts three green dots on the map. Those spots are close together, so you just walk over them and dig up the bottles one by one.
Take out the first target in the office.
Fly directly to the pool area and clear the guards.
Wait for the main gangster, then finish the digging spots.
A short run that is easy to repeat
When you grab the third item, the job ends on the spot, and that is what makes it so appealing. It is quick, it pays well during the bonus window, and you are not stuck staring at some long timer before another attempt. If you like repeating clean little money runs, this one fits the mood. A lot of players will even keep a second option open, and some use GTA 5 Accounts buy as a shorthand for planning their next grind session, then jump right back into the replay screen and do the mission again without losing momentum.
